Gullah Geechee Group (GGG), Inc. is a nonprofit, organized exclusively for charitable, scientific, education, and religious purposes. Our Mission is to support the four coastal states of the Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor -North and South Carolina, Georgia and Florida— The Gullah Geechee people are the descendants of West and Central Africans who were enslaved and bought to the lower Atlantic states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia to work on the coastal rice, Sea Island cotton and indigo plantations.

Through the designation as a National Education Site, about the Gullah Geechee people and their heritage Area; 2) to communicate through a digital “newsSource”- Gullah Geechee Group (GGG), Inc.: Newsletter–and other means like studies, seminars (webinars) publications–about history, culture, arts, land, food, music, religion, current affairs, etc.
